About Me

I am a humanistic counsellor, incorporating existential and phenomenological therapy. My many years as a holistic health therapist have shown me that body and mind are clearly linked. My counselling work reflects this, allowing exploration of the connection between the physical and emotional within us, and how this may be experienced somatically.
I value and respect the diversity within our community, it enriches us all. Each of my clients is an individual and I aim to work affirmatively with regard to neurodivergence, sexuality, gender-identity, ability, ethnicity and culture.
I volunteered as counsellor for MacMillan cancer support from 2023-2025, helping clients navigate the change and loss of a cancer diagnosis. Previously I volunteered with the Samaritans for 5 years, which showed me how much people need connection during difficult times.
I feel that we are all capable of change and growth throughout our lives, but sometimes need help to find our way. My own experience of therapy showed me that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor within the work. For this reason, I offer a free 20 minute phone call to see if we might be a good fit. If this goes well, we would schedule an initial 50 minute session, and work from there.

I offer both time-limited and long term therapy on weekdays and evenings, online or in-person, usually at the same time each week.
Sessions are currently £60 per 50 minute session. I provide some lower cost sessions for those on low incomes, please contact me if you feel this would be of help to you.
I am a member of the BACP, and abide by their ethical framework.
